HRS Staff

The quality of the Hamlin Robinson School program lies in the heart of its excellent classroom teachers, specialists, and exceptionally dedicated administrative and support staff. These professionals represent the cream of the crop. All lower school classroom teachers and Middle School reading and language arts teachers are required to have advanced training in the Slingerland Approach.

Faculty professional development programs are strongly centered in exploration of all avenues of education for language learning disabled students. Teachers find at the school a wealth of positive role models and unity of purpose that allows for a rewarding professional experience.

A balance of experienced, mid-level and beginning staff provides an exciting and forward-moving sense of purpose. Research tells us that the most important component of an effective reading program is the quality of the teacher training and support. Teachers and students will find that a core component of the Hamlin Robinson School experience.

“My hope is that students at HRS would come to value and treasure their unique gifts, while at the same time strengthen their academic skills in language arts and math.” HRS teacher

“I look forward to students leaving HRS empowered and confident, employing the strategies we teach to integrate themselves into mainstream education.” HRS teacher
