Students who attend Hamlin Robinson School come at all grade levels and stay at the school for an average of thee years, though many stay longer. This is a shorter time than students traditionally stay at their neighborhood schools, but the connection with them is a strong one. Every teacher, staff member and administrator is invested in the success of the students as they build on their growth in the classroom and beyond.
Commencement for HRS students is a celebration of their success and is their first step toward moving on to conventional classroom programs. They move on to a variety of public, private, prep and parochial schools in the Northwest. The high rate of students who continue their education in college, community college and trade programs is a testament to these hard working students who were struggling in school early on. Given the educational support and tools they need, they continue to achieve success in school and life.
Hamlin Robinson School is invested in these students and their future; we are tied to the hopes and dreams of their parents when they first came to HRS, and to them as they continue to succeed. We will continue to be in contact with all HRS Alumni, and strengthen this connection through Alumni gatherings, mentoring and volunteer opportunities. |
