Position at HRS:  Librarian

Ms. Dersch is Hamlin Robinson School’s librarian.  She is excited by the school’s new campus and fantastic library space.  She loves that she can connect with the whole HRS community and help each student make the best use of this marvelous room and its wealth of books.

Ms. Dersch says that there's no feeling quite like helping a student find a book they can connect with.  Hamlin Robinson School’s library has a vast range of books, and she feels sure every HRS student can find something that they can read and enjoy.  She looks forward to helping them make those connections.

Prior to joining Hamlin Robinson School, Ms. Dersch was the Outreach Librarian for the City of Renton, presenting storytimes and kid and teen programs.  She also developed library services for schools, child care centers, and other offsite areas.

When she is not in the library, Ms. Dersch enjoys reading and writing, and exploring new places with her husband and their 80 lb. mix-breed Husky dog, Jasper.  She also loves to watch baseball.
