Mrs. Massoth has been a teacher for 13 years, 11 of those with Hamlin Robinson School. She loves working with this population of students because of their intelligence and interest in learning. She has also experienced dyslexia within her family, and appreciates the difficulty these students have in accessing their gifts in order to reach their full potential. Hamlin Robinson School is special to Mrs. Massoth because of the uniqueness of the students and the commitment of the staff. In the classroom, she empowers students to take charge of their own learning. She treats students with honesty and respect, and sets clear expectations for them. When she is not busy teaching, Mrs. Massoth loves to travel. She is a member of the board of the Washington Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (WABIDA) and holds a BA in English and Education. |
