Maeve Stephenson

Position at HRS:  Middle School Teacher, Cross Country Coach, Transition Coordinator

Ms. Stephenson has been teaching for 10 years, more than a third of them with Hamlin Robinson School.  She believes in the mission of the Hamlin Robinson School, and appreciates teaching in a creative and supportive environment.

Ms. Stephenson was drawn to teaching at Hamlin Robinson School after subsitituting here and discovering a passion for the students and staff.  She approaches her work with students with patience and kindness and seeks to engage their interests and celebrate their strengths and successes. 
Ms. Stephenson is a published author and member of a writer’s collective - ‘Les Sardines’. She has traveled extensively and lived in Japan for a year.  She loves hiking and backpacking and is an accomplished mountaineer.  Ms. Stephenson holds a BA in English Literature and a Masters of Arts in Teaching.  She has completed first and second year Slingerland training.
