B.A. in Mathematics, M.A. in Secondary School Administration, Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration - University of Iowa

Involved in the founding of the school in 1983 as Executive Director of the Slingerland Institute, which gave rise to the HRS. Winston has enjoyed serving on the Board over the years have always been mission-driven and have nearly always been unified, collegial, and fun.  Secondly, there are big rewards in observing the amazing benefits of the HRS program to children and families over the years and knowing you are a small part of it.

Profession:  Retired in 2006 as Vice-President of City University (currently serves on a consulting basis), preceded by a long career in educational management, both public school K-12 (math teacher, high school principal, superintendent) and higher education.

Personal Interests:  Classical music, travel, reading, hiking, family
