Profession:  Mark Fordham is director, managing corporate counsel with Starbucks Coffee Company in Seattle, Washington.  Mark manages the group of commercial lawyers responsible for the company’s global consumer products, foodservice and franchise and licensing businesses. Mark is currently the President of the King County Bar Association and has served on the boards of the ACLU of Washington and the Asian American Justice Center.

Prior to joining Starbucks, Mark started his career as a law clerk to the Honorable William L. Dwyer, United States District Court (WDWA) and then built a commercial, intellectual property and immigration practice at the Seattle law firms of Riddell Williams, MacDonald Hoague & Bayless and Davis Wright Tremaine.  He is a graduate of the Columbia Law School and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and Literature from the University of Washington.
