Social Skills Group

In response to the needs of our families and community we have created a Social Skills Group at Hamlin Robinson School. This group offers structured and research-proven programs for children to earn the skills they need to connect with peers. This multi-week session is structured as small cohorts of 6-10 students grouped by age with two counselors. Topics will focus on a variety of skills including:

  • making and maintaining friendships
  • dealing with feelings
  • making good choices
  • using self-control
  • dealing with stress and pressure
  • classroom survival skills

Date:
Tuesdays, January 10 - March 27
(No class on Feb 21 due to Mid Winter Break)

Ages:
separate cohorts for ages 6-8 and 9-12

Time:
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm (ages 6-8)
4:40 pm - 5:40 pm (ages 9-12) Cancelled

Cost:
$495 (11 week session)
