Welcome from the Head

There is something special about being part of a community where students are truly known and understood. At HRS, we believe every student deserves to experience that sense of belonging and to be surrounded by people who recognize their strengths, understand how they learn, and believe in what they can accomplish.

Since 1983, Hamlin Robinson School has brought together students, families, educators, and supporters around a shared purpose: empowering students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences to thrive. That purpose shapes not only how we teach, but how we come together as a community.

You can see it in the relationships between students and teachers, the friendships formed across grade levels, and the moments when students encourage and celebrate one another. You can feel it when families gather for events, volunteer, learn together, and support one another. And you can hear it in the voices of our alumni, who carry the confidence and self-understanding they developed at HRS into high school, college, careers, and their communities.
