About Us

Student smiling at lunch

Is your student struggling with learning to read, write, or spell? Do they feel discouraged and anxious about school? Hamlin Robinson School is an independent school in Seattle, offering a specialized program for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We provide a multisensory language approach, full academic curriculum, and a positive learning environment for students in grades 1-8.

Our students discover the joy of learning, build positive self-esteem, explore creative potential, and acquire the specific language skills necessary for success. Students are accepted at their instructional level, and respect is a fundamental value.

The HRS community is strong and flourishing because so many wonderful people find their way here. Our families are diverse in every way: careers, race, religion, family structure, sexual orientation, and socio-economic background. Personal relationships matter, and providing a supportive, nurturing environment ensures students and families thrive.

At Hamlin Robinson School, we believe learning has no limits.
