Tuition and Tuition Assistance

Hamlin Robinson School is committed to making its program accessible to families who find it difficult to pay 100% of tuition. To help manage the cost, HRS has a tuition assistance program that offers funds to qualifying families. Last year, HRS extended tuition assistance to over 24% of its student body. HRS tuition assistance awards range from approximately 10% up to 95% of tuition.
HRS has transitioned to a new tuition assistance application platform called Clarity for the 2026-2027 school year. A downloadable step-by-step application guide is available lower on this page.
Tuition + Fees
Families can anticipate an annual tuition increase, which supports faculty compensation, curricular enhancements, and facility improvements. The HRS tuition assistance committee works diligently to steward financial resources prudently. An annual audit of tuition and fees, which includes a current market survey of other similar programs and independent schools in the Seattle area, helps guide the committee.
We encourage families to learn more about our process and reach out with questions.

Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance is awarded based on demonstrated financial need. Tuition assistance is provided in the form of a grant applied as an actual reduction in the cost of tuition. It does not need to be repaid. Admission decisions are made independently of tuition assistance decisions.
Hamlin Robinson School has adopted Clarity to simplify the tuition assistance application process for families. Clarity provides a streamlined, mobile-friendly application that can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. It also securely imports your tax information directly from the IRS, eliminating the need to upload or manually enter data from tax returns and W-2s. This saves time and enhances security by avoiding the storage and sharing of sensitive documents.
Please note Hamlin Robinson School's access code, 9174, as you will need it to complete your application in Clarity.
