Standardized Test Prep

The Learning Center’s Standardized Test Preparation course offers students an opportunity to prepare to take standardized tests such as the Independent Schools Entrance Exam (ISEE) and the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) – and is open to students applying to grades 6-12.

Through a variety of activities, including previewing and practicing with multiple test formats, reviewing select concepts and material, and taking practice tests, students will learn valuable test-taking strategies, as well as strategies for specific question types, and time management skills. The class will provide students with valuable standardized testing experience in order to build their confidence, help them learn to manage anxiety, and to help them achieve their best performance in a standardized testing situation. The fee is $350.
