An endowment is a gift designed to make a difference in perpetuity. By investing the principal and using a portion of the earnings each year, endowments provide reliable, long-term support for Hamlin Robinson School and future generations of students.
Endowments provide lasting support for Hamlin Robinson School by creating a permanent source of funding that strengthens our mission for generations to come. A named endowment may be established with a minimum commitment of $100,000, which donors may fulfill over a period of up to five years. Donors may also include an endowment intention in their planned giving arrangements, creating a meaningful legacy through a future gift. Whether supporting tuition assistance, innovative programs, educator development, or another priority, an endowment reflects a donor’s values while helping ensure HRS remains strong and sustainable well into the future.
An endowment is structured to keep the fund principal intact while the investment earnings income is available for use. This allows donations to have a lasting impact over time versus being spent all at once. An endowment is considered permanently restricted - funds will only be used for the intention stipulated by the donor. Endowment earning will not be spent until the minimum $100,000 level is reached.
The Joan Beauregard Endowment for Discovery and Enrichment sponsors experiences meant to broaden and expand understanding of our world. Earnings from the endowment help fund life-changing experiences involving cultural, historic, civic, artistic, and scientific thinking for HRS students – and the HRS community.
