Student Internships
Student interns support the HRS Learning Center in a variety of ways, including assisting with summer camps, classroom activities, tutoring, community outreach, events, educational programs, partner projects, and administrative tasks. Assignments are matched to each intern’s interests, experience, and the Learning Center’s current needs.
Through hands-on experience and professional mentorship, interns learn more about dyslexia and other language-based learning differences while building skills in communication, organization, collaboration, program planning, and adapting learning materials.
Interns will gain experience in:
Educational and classroom support
Event planning and community outreach
Program coordination and teamwork
Working with students with language-based learning differences
Professional communication and leadership skills
Who should apply
Opportunities are open to high school students in 10th grade or above, college students, and young adults who are interested in education, special education, or related fields and bring strong interpersonal, organizational, and basic computer skills.
Volunteer Opportunities
Become part of the Hamlin Robinson School Learning Center volunteer team and help support students, families, and educators in our community. Volunteers assist with events, programs, outreach, and operational support, helping our Learning Center continue to grow and serve more families.
