I hope you are having a wonderful summer full of fun with family and friends.

Even as the sun shines bright and we have ice cream on our minds, we are preparing for the 2022-23 school year. We can’t wait to have our students back on campus again in September! We look forward to moving our middle school into the new building. As soon as we know more about our move-in dates and details, we will share this with everyone. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 6. Classes will be on the following schedule:

  • Lower school schedule: 8:05am - 2:50pm
  • Middle school schedule: 8:25am - 3:10pm

There will be a space for middle school students who ride the bus/carpool and arrive before the start of the school day and for lower school students who ride the bus/carpool at the end of the day. HRS health and safety plans will continue to align with current public health guidance. We will continue to offer on-site rapid COVID testing for students on an individual basis should they develop symptoms at school, or on a cohort basis when a positive case presents in a classroom. Parents should continue to monitor their student, but morning screenings through a health app will not be required. For more information about current health and safety policies, please visit our website. The parent portal is now open. To reach the portal, click HRS Portals on the header of the website. For assistance with log-in questions, email BUS SERVICE: HRS offers morning and afternoon bus service on several routes throughout the Seattle area. Route information is on our website.
