Back at Last!

For the first time in three years, Grands Day was back in person at HRS.

Hosted by grade level and stretched over three days, grandparents and grand friends were invited to come to campus for a sneak peek of the HRS experience.

Students were proud to show their work, their classrooms, and their lockers to their grandparents and grand friends. Each event started with a presentation by Head of School, Stacy Turner, focusing on the unique structure of the HRS program and helping guests understand learning styles in a new way.

Afterwards, students performed a musical medley guided by specialist teachers Mr. Fox and Mr. Levin. Then, everyone moved to classrooms for a lesson demonstrating multisensory teaching techniques and for grands to see the HRS program in action for themselves. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend.
