At Hamlin Robinson School, students gain more than academic skills. They develop confidence, self-advocacy, and a deep understanding of how they learn best - tools they carry with them as lifelong learners.
Who We Serve
At Hamlin Robinson School, our School Program serves students in grades 1–8 whose primary learning challenge is dyslexia or related language-based learning differences. These differences most often affect how a student acquires reading, spelling, and written expression skills. A formal diagnosis is not required for admission.

Many arrive at HRS after experiencing frustration in traditional classrooms, where their language difficulties may have masked their true abilities. These experiences can affect self-confidence and limit opportunities to thrive. At HRS, students discover that with the right instruction and environment, they can flourish.
A Supportive Learning Environment
The HRS program is designed for students who can participate in a classroom-based learning model.
HRS does not provide 1:1 intervention for academics, social skills, behavior, or emotional regulation. While many HRS students may have additional learning or attentional needs, they are able to engage and succeed in a classroom setting. Our expertise and resources are to strengthen language and literacy skills, allowing students to thrive in a comprehensive educational program that includes math, science, social studies, art, music, PE, technology, and so much more.
