Welcome to Summer at Hamlin Robinson School
Summer at HRS welcomes all students entering grades 1–8, with programs running June 29–August 7, 2026.
Classes and camps are open to all children — they do not need to be enrolled at HRS to participate. We have before and after care available; additional fees apply.
Whether your child is joining our camps for the first time or returning for more fun, there are plenty of ways to build their summer adventure!
morning Slingerland® reading & writing ClasS
July 6–July 29 · 9:00am–12:00pm
Students kick off the day with Slingerland® classes—structured, multisensory reading and writing lessons built to boost literacy skills for students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. This three-and-a-half-week class is led by HRS faculty and staff. Morning sessions give students a strong foundation before they head out on afternoon adventures. All students are grouped by grade level.
Afternoon camps
July 6–July 31 · 1:00–4:00pm
Extend your child's Slingerland® morning into a full day exploration with an independent afternoon camp. Ending at 4:00pm with optional aftercare, the afternoon camps provide the flexibility to design the adventure that fits your camper best. Each camp has designated grade levels for registration shown when selected below or registering.
Full-Day camps
June 29–July 2 & August 3–7 · 9:00am–5:00pm
Starting a week before Slingerland® classes, you can register your child for Explorer’s Week full-day camp (June 29–July 2) and/or register for Week 5 full-day camp (August 3–7). Full-day camps only available Explorer’s Week and Week 5. Full-day camps only available Explorer's Week and Week 5.
