Prepare for lift off!

The Galactic Gala & Auction will take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Museum of Flight. This retro space-age soiree brings us together for an evening of stellar food, far-out fun, and out-of-this-world auction items. Every dollar raised at this event supports the students and transformative programs at Hamlin Robinson School. Invitations will be mailed in early 2025, so mark your calendar now for this cosmic celebration!  

In the meantime, we need your help to make this event a success. At this time, we’re most in need of donated items for our online and live auctions. Check with your friends, family, and beloved businesses to see if they will consider donating an item or experience.

DONATE!

Auctions raise money by selling donated or “procured” items. We suggest donating items or experiences that you would enjoy. Below are some donation ideas, and we encourage your creative ideas as well. 

  • Travel accessories  
  • Group dinners  
  • Wine or other spirits 
  • Themed gift baskets (food, books, beauty products, etc.) 
  • Distillery tours  
  • Unique experiences 
  • Vacation rentals and weekend getaways
  • Sports tickets, stadium suites, or field passes  
  • Concert, symphony, ballet, or arts tickets 
  • Video or board games 
  • Handcrafted, one-of-a-kind items 
  • Sports equipment 
  • Gift cards or restaurant certificates 
  • Cash in support of item purchases

Be sure to fill out a procurement form for any items that you donate. Contact auction@hamlinrobinson.org to arrange item delivery. Procurements are due by February 21, 2025.

ATTEND!

You won’t want to miss this year’s space-age soiree. Tickets go on sale in January 2025. Join other members of the HRS community for drinks, dinner, and an out-of-this-world auction. We’ll also raise money for this year’s Fund-A-Need, which supports items that directly benefit students, faculty, and staff. In addition, 25% of Fund-A-Need proceeds are set aside for the Tuition Assistance Endowment.
